James’ Version of 'Our Story'

We met while we were in college. I was having dinner with some friends at a local Chinese restaurant when I first laid eyes on my bride to be. She entered the room with some mutual friends and sat at the table next to us. She never knew I existed that night but I knew I had to meet this beautiful girl. A few weeks later we went with mutual friends on a road trip to Nogales, Mexico but circumstances didn’t allow us to really meet or connect. Finally, the following Thursday night I spotted her with some friends at one of my fraternity parties and I knew I had to make my move. I felt if I waited or hesitated for any reason I would lose my chance.  I approached her, introduced myself, and our conversation felt very natural. We realized from that very first conversation that we had a lot in common…including the same class the following day – Meteorology 101.  We swapped numbers and I remember seeing her walk in the lecture hall the following day. Well, we ended up sitting next to each other during class for the rest of that semester and the rest as we say…is history!!
